JefClarkArt Testimonials

Feedback from clients of JefClarkArt has been very encouraging and much appreciated:

*** “Recently, I decided to place my home on a vacation rental site, knowing that only two things would bring in guests–price and the quality of the photos of the home and grounds. Having earlier purchased some of Jeff’s work, I asked him to do the photo shoot and I could not have been more pleased. Within 10 days of posting his amazing work on my site, I’ve had three one-week bookings, as well as numerous compliments from prospective guests regarding the photos. It pays to go with a professional. Thanks, Jeff!” Rick T, Piney Point, Maryland.

*** “I couldn’t be more pleased with the stunning photo of an African Tulip in full bloom that I purchased from JefClarkArt last year. Taken on the grounds of the Ernest Hemingway House in Key West, the photograph is striking in both its vivid detail and vibrant orange color. It arrived beautifully framed and provides the perfect pop of color in our family room.” Sara L, Shallotte, North Carolina.

*** “Wow! I just love the photograph of White’s Mill on the Hocking River in Athens. It is one of the best things in my new apartment. JefClarkArt has cool stuff.” Jenna W, Columbus, Ohio.

*** “I am purchasing several of the photographs available through JefClarkArt as we finalize the redecoration of our beach home. Just a perfect range of treated subjects that work in several different rooms.” Marybeth P, Lewes, Delaware.

JefClarkArt Much in Demand!

While I have literally been taking photographs for decades, the decision to get serious about it gained momentum with the establishment of this website early in 2012. It has been quite the 16 months or so! Across Southern Maryland, JefClarkArt has now participated in three Island Cottages Sales; had a four month photo exhibit at Café des Artistes and a three month show at the Creekside Gallery, both in Leonardtown; had a six week exhibit at Island Bar and Grill on St. George Island; was asked to participate in the St. Clement’s Island Heritage Day celebrations; and, now is collaborating with the LexLeader, an online economic newsmagazine (www.LexLeader.net) based in Lexington Park, in the ongoing Where in the World Is That? photo contest. The camera and I have recently travelled to Nova Scotia; Austin, Texas; the California coast; Baltimore, Washington and New York; and continued the concentration on St. Mary’s County scenes. The response has been very encouraging–I just did a commercial shoot for a new client–and I encourage you to check out some of the more than 200 photos on display in the Flickr Photostream within this website.

Note Cards + Postcards Now Available

The threat of Hurricane Sandy shut down the late October Island Cottage Sale and while the hurricane did truly horrible damage to thousands of people up and down the East Coast, a minor consequence is that the JefClarkArt Studios are bulging with surplus inventory.  Thus, many prints in the Studios are on sale and we are offering a small but excellent series of Note Cards (three per set w/envelopes) and Postcards (four per set) for only $10.00.  These are perfect small gifts for not much and they are available to be shipped right now!  Check out the new NoteCards/Postcards Set on the Flickr page of the web site to get an idea of what is available.  Of course, if you are in less of a hurry, all images in the PhotoStream can become Cards. And, it goes without saying, large prints of all of the images seen on the cards are also available.

Have Camera, Will Travel INDEED!

A couple of springs ago, the camera traveled to Austin, Texas, the alleged Live Music Capital of the World, a center of Texas Bar-Be-Que mania [over-rated], host city of the Lyndon B. Johnson Library and Museum [disappointingly closed for renovation], nearest city to the LBJ Ranch [way cool] and the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center [extremely wonderful with 279 acres of trails, meadows and flowers!].  A few shots from the trip are available via the Austin, Texas set on the Flickr photostream.  Hope you like them!

There are also recent photos from a quick journey to Athens, Ohio that are worth checking out as are the shots of the Kalmar Nyckel, the official Tall Ship of Delaware, recently berthed in Solomons Island, Maryland, as part of the War of 1812 commemorations.  Even more recent shots following trips to Ethiopia, Chile, Argentina and Britain are also posted.
